In a remark that is bound to stir controversy, actor and dancer Rakhi Sawant, known for her controversial comments, today said she would marry the Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev If he agreed to marry herIn the Capital to promote a new reality show on Imagine General entertainment network, Rakhi, who earlier unsuccessfully scouted for her 'prince charming' in the show 'Rakhi Ka Swayamwar', said she would marry only of Baba Ramdev agreed to marry her. She also requested Imagine TV to hold another season of 'Swayamwar' which would feature only her and Baba Ramdev I will marry the day Swami Ramdev agrees to marry me.
Rakhi said earlier she wanted to marry Congress youth icon Rahul Gandhi
but realised that 'Sonia Gandhi Ke Saamne Meri daal nahin galegi' (My pleas will cut no ice with Sonia Gandhi)I have been after Rahul since a long time. But, now, I am interested only in Baba Ramdev
she said. Criticising the alleged remark by actress Katrina Kaif describing Rahul as 'half Indian', Rakhi said,;what Katrina said was wrong.; When pointed out that it had become a habit with Bollywood actresses to mention Rahul in their interviews, as evidenced by Katrina's alleged comments, Rakhi said,I have been in the industry much before Katrina and her peers. Katrina Kaif has entered the industry only recently while I have been around for several years. Talking about the reality show 'Gajab Desh Ki Ajab Kahaniayan' that she will ne hosting on Imagine TV from July 29, Rakhi said,it is a reality show which is very different from the shows aired on TV channels till date. It is the 'baap' of all reality shows where you will witness some of the most bizarre incidents that will leave you shell shocked and rolling on the floor in splits. Among the stories to be aired on the channel will be the story of a man who has not taken a bath for 37 years, that of two families who combat each other and use ghosts as a weapon, or that of a woman who prefers to stay perched on a cell phone tower for days to avoid getting married to a man her parents chose.
